What is BIMI?

Does Gmail need a VMC?
Yes. Gmail will not show the logo without a Verified Mark Certificate at a=. Yahoo, La Poste, and some others can show a logo without one. A VMC is a paid certificate from a handful of CAs, not something this tool mints.
Why does BIMI require DMARC quarantine or reject?
The logo is a trust badge. Inbox providers will not put it on mail unless you have a DMARC policy that actually handles unauthenticated mail. p=none is not enough.
What SVG is allowed?
SVG Tiny Portable/Secure: square, usually under 32KB, solid background, no scripts or external images. A normal marketing SVG often fails. Convert it specifically for BIMI.
Does a valid BIMI record mean the logo will show?
No. The record can be perfect and Gmail still hide it without a VMC. The sending domain, From domain, and DMARC alignment also have to match.
