DNS Record Checker

Live lookup of A, MX, TXT, NS, and the email records that sit next to them.

A DNS dump, not a vibe check

This is the raw zone view. For SPF syntax, DKIM selectors, or DMARC policy, use those checkers. DKIM is not at the apex, so it will not show up here.

DNS Checker FAQ

What does this DNS checker look up?

A, AAAA, MX, TXT, NS, CNAME, SOA, and CAA on the domain you type, plus email extras at _dmarc, default._bimi, _mta-sts, and _smtp._tls. SPF is read from the apex TXT list.

Why is there no DKIM here?

DKIM is not at the apex. It lives at selector._domainkey, and the selector is not standard. Use the DKIM checker, which scans common ESP selectors.

What is CAA?

CAA says which certificate authorities may issue TLS certs for the domain. It does not affect email. It is here because it is part of a full DNS picture.

How long does DNS take to update?

Often minutes, sometimes hours, rarely a full TTL. This tool queries live DNS-over-HTTPS, not a cached zone file from your registrar UI.
